Constance’s mom, Susan, called right after we got home from the grocery store on Saturday afternoon. She had changed her mind after initially rebuking Constance’s offer to come down right away, and Susan now requested her only daughter’s presence on Monday morning to coincide with the departure of Richard, Constance’s dad.
