Nola’s First Snow
Fluffy white stuff might not mean a lot to most people - in fact, it’s usually a nuisance to anyone over the age of 12. But there’s a very special lady in North Carolina who loves the snow and never gets to see it any more. And ever since the calendar flipped to November, and now December, she has been dying to see a picture of Nola surrounded by the first snow of the season.
I couldn’t bring myself to get us all dressed up in winter gear to go outside for a photo-op, but for my most wonderful mother-in-law, Susan, I bring you a photo series I like to call “Baby Near the Snow: A Cozy Dad’s Compromise.”

Are those bananas I see on her shirt? Solid food, snow pictures AND a blog post? I’m impressed.
That shit is bananas … B-A-N-A-N-A-S.
That is a great series and what better way to enjoy Nola’s rosy cheeks than with the behind-the-scenes knowledge that they are pink from the warmth of the indoors rather than mean ol’ wind chap.
You and Constance have one adorable baby.
OMG, I am cracking up at the title of your photo series! Well done, sir! Well done!
And, of course, Nola continues to be so cute as to possibly break your camera.
